ABSTRACT:
A control linkage for a diesel engine in a skid-steer loader is disclosed wherein the control rods for both the fuel shut-off valve and the rate of flow control valve are operably interconnected by a bracket slidably receiving the control rods. The bracket is actuatable by a single control lever in the operator's compartment to vary the rate of flow of fuel to the engine without manipulating the fuel shut-off valve and to terminate the flow of fuel by manipulating the shut-off valve after the rate of fuel flow has been reduced to a predetermined point.
