A fungicide can be provided by using, as an active ingredient, a diamine derivative of the following general formula (1):whereinR1 to R7 represent a specific substituent such as an alkyl group with 1 to 6 carbon atoms, and R8 represents an aryl group, which may be substituted or a heteroaryl group, which may be substituted.
