ABSTRACT:
Compounds of the formula ##STR1## in which R is alkyl, furanyl, phenyl and isopropenyl and R.sup.1 and R.sup.2 are alkyl, or their amine salts and their use in retarding the ripening of picked fruits, vegetables and other merchantable materials of plant origin.
