ABSTRACT:
A novel injectable diagnostic composition comprises a fibrinolytic enzyme such as streptokinase-activated human plasmin or human urokinase, a stannous reducing agent and an alkaline sodium citrate reagent prepared and packaged as an instant non-radioactive labeling reagent kit to be used in conjunction with a source of .sup.99m Tc-pertechnetate forming a radioactive tracer material suitable for use in scintigraphic imaging of fibrinogen or fibrin depositions in thromboembolic diseases, in myocardial infarction and in neoplasm.
