ABSTRACT:
A diagnostic agent and a method for detecting a carcinoma are described, where at least one HERG potassium channel is detected in a tissue biopsy of the human colon or rectum. In addition, the use of the antiarrhythmic agent E-4031 for treatment of colorectal carcinoma is described.
