ABSTRACT:
A diagnosis apparatus of solenoid drive circuits for an anti-lock braking system. In the diagnosis apparatus, each comparator outputs H-level signal to each counter in reply to the turning-on of a solenoid of a solenoid valve to reset and start the counter. When the counter counts a predetermined time TI, the counter outputs a carry signal to an OR gate and a diagnosis decision circuit where AND operation of two pairs of the outputs of the counters by each brake hydraulic unit is executed and OR operation of the outputs of the AND elements is execute. A select circuit receives a check signal indicative of a diagnosis executing mode and outputs the diagnosis result to a microcomputer for ABS control. Therefore, the diagnosis is collectively executed to all brake hydraulic systems without degrading the drivability of the vehicle.
