ABSTRACT:
Disclosed are methods for detecting protein complexes of sigma factors and interacting proteins in a sample containingMycobacterium tuberculosis. Such methods are useful for the diagnosis and/or monitoring of tuberculosis in a subject. Also disclosed are methods for screening compounds that affect the interaction of one or more sigma factors with one or more interacting proteins.
