ABSTRACT:
A dextran ester-olefin compound copolymer comprising a unit derived from a dextran ester of the following formula (1) ##STR1## and a unit derived from a polymerizable olefin compound of the following formula (2) ##STR2## (R.sup.1, R.sup.2, R.sup.3, R.sup.4, R.sup.5 and R.sup.6 are defined in claim 1);
A process for preparing the same and a shaped article made therefrom.
