ABSTRACT:
The present invention relates to a device for the removal of castings from chill moulds. The device comprises a body provided with controllable gripping means for the chill mould and controlling gripping means for the casting and ramming means provided to create blows against the chill mould in order to loosen the same from the casting. The body is provided to be suspended by hoisting means.
