ABSTRACT:
A flat glass sheet is formed using the float process. Before annealing of glass carried on rollers, the glass is conveyed by a fluid bed formed by a mixture of gasses, in order to cool the glass to approximately 600.degree. C. before it reaches an annealing lehr.
