ABSTRACT:
In a device for straightening vehicle bodies, a long-stroke traction jack is mounted vertically within a vertical column, the jack body being attached to the lower end of the column. The column is carried by a movable base and can be attached to the ground by means of retaining chains. One end of a traction chain passed over a guide pulley and engaged within the interior of the column is attached to the free end of the jack operating rod.
