ABSTRACT:
The device1for positioning the measuring element of a measuring apparatus comprises a traverse14on which the measuring element is arranged. The device further comprises a track11on which bearings12, 13run, and on which the traverse14is held by means of bearings124, 125. The measuring element of the measuring apparatus can be positioned radially in relation to the track11and along the track11. The traverse14comprises multiple components, wherein the components141, 142of the traverse14are interconnected with one or several bearings143, or the components141, 142of the traverse14are held inside each other so as to be telescopically slidable. Radial positioning takes place in that the angle α14between the components141, 142of the traverse14is changed or in that in the case of a telescopic traverse14, which constitutes a chord in the track11, the length is altered.
