ABSTRACT:
A device for mounting an outboard motor to the transom of a boat so that the motor can be selectively raised and lowered relative to the boat transom and so that the motor can be tilted at an angle to the vertical. The outboard motor mounting device includes a transom mounting fixture to be attached to the boat transom, and an outboard motor mounting fixture interconnected to the transom mounting fixture for selected linear movement on the transom mounting fixture up or down relative to the boat transom, and for selected pivotal movement on the transom mounting fixture about a horizontal tilt axis in the direction of the longitudinal axis of the boat.
