ABSTRACT:
The present invention pertains to a device for irrigation of and aspiration from body cavities, especially during surgical laparoscopy, comprising a delivery pump and a suction pump and tubing lines, which are connected to these and lead to the body cavity. A device for irrigation of and aspiration from body cavities, which can be operated in a very simple manner and fully meets sterility requirements is provided. The suction pressure and the irrigation pressure can be finely controlled in a simple manner, a control device 1 for alternate irrigation of and aspiration from the body cavity is provided according to the present invention; the control device 1 is connected to a control line 3 and to a control valve 20 arranged in its path and controls the delivery and suction pumps 13 and 14 as a function of this control line, and the setting of the gas ballast in the control line 3 by means of the control valve 20 brings about control of the pressure and/or rotation speed of the delivery and suction pumps 13 and 14 (FIG. 2 l).
