ABSTRACT:
A device10for forming concrete includes a first form12dimensioned to surround substantially one-half of a predetermined object13, such as a vertical column13, from a preselected distance; a second form14dimensioned to surround substantially one-half of the column13from substantially the same preselected distance; joining members16for detachably joining end portions18of the first and second forms12and14; and securing members20for removably securing the first and second forms12and14to the column13after joining together the end portions18of the first and second forms12and14about the column13. The joined first and second forms12and14remain substantially stationary as concrete is poured into the device10; whereupon, the concrete ultimately hardens and the device is quickly removed and re-positioned about another vertical column13.
