ABSTRACT:
A device1for feeding foil2for the manufacture of foil bags with at least one supply roll holder3that can be driven with a drive, at least one piece of conveyor equipment4for conveying a foil2from a supply roll5that is held in the supply roll holder3, at least one foil sensor mechanism6, which is arranged between the supply roll holder3and the conveyor equipment4, which includes at least one stationary deflection roll7and a first and second dancer roll8, 9, supported in movable supports10, 11for turning the foil2around, whereby the foil sensor mechanism6for regulating the drive of the supply roll holder3is formed depending on the distance from the first and/or second dancer roll8, 9to the deflection roll7. The supports10, 11of the first and second dancer rolls8, 9are hung into at least one hanger12that is guided over a deflection wheel13, 14and in this way so coupled together that the weight of the first and second dancer rolls8, 9is at least partially offset.
