A device (10) for facilitating a medical examination includes a movable body (12) having a storage compartment (24) therein and a door member (42, 44) movably mounted to the body (12) for at least partially covering the storage compartment (24). A supporting unit (72, 72) is mounted to the body (12) for supporting a foot of a patient during the performance of a medical examination.
