ABSTRACT:
A device for extracting a nozzle assembly of a fuel injection installation. The nozzle assembly is pressed into a cylinder head of an internal combustion engine, with a support pipe, with which the extraction device of the device is supported in the area surrounding the nozzle assembly on the valve cover during the extraction operation. To rule out deformations of the valve cover in case of strong tensile forces and extremely crowded space conditions, provisions are made according to the present invention for a divided support ring, which is formed from two ring sections, which can be placed individually on the valve cover in the area surrounding the nozzle assembly, to be able to be inserted between the support pipe of the extraction device and the surface of the valve cover.
