ABSTRACT:
The device for drying laundry1by means of a current of air comprises a drum2to accommodate the laundry1and a ducting system4, 5, 6, to direct said current of air. The ducting system4, 5, 6has a section4arranged downstream of the drum2, in which the current of air is directed downwards and in which is arranged a filter8to capture lint9from the current of air. A scraper15is assigned to the filter8, in order to scrape off the lint9. The receptacle19, 20has a handle21and two interlinked shell elements (19, 20) which can be separated from each other, and which define a storage volume to accommodate the scraped-off lint (9). According to the invention, lint9thus scraped off can be removed from the device and disposed of, without the user needing to come into direct contact with the lint9.
