ABSTRACT:
A device for conveying and aligning a sheet in a sheet-processing machine, with at least one frictionally driven ball having a dome facing towards the sheets for engaging a broad surface of the sheet and for moving the sheet in its plane includes structure for supporting the ball so that it is rotatable in all directions about a fixed mid-point thereof, and at least two frictional-force transmission locations located at the periphery of the ball and disposed at least 90.degree. from one another.
