ABSTRACT:
A device for cleaning the working surfaces of a printing press, in particular a blanket washing plant, with a plurality of washing units, preferably designed as washing bars, controlled by a central processing unit and provided with actuators and sensors is cost-effectively made safer, easier to in stall and to diagnose by a design characterised in that the central processing unit and each subset of washing units comprising at least one washing unit is assigned a communications module located at least near the washing unit, and in that all communications modules are connected to a transmission channel, via which signals can be transmitted and received.
