ABSTRACT:
Devices for breaking down a gas mixture by means of an absorbent permit the production of an enriched product, e.g. oxygen for technical processes or for ventilation. During the operation, the device is switched periodically between two operating stages, in which the gas mixture is fed to one of two tanks with absorbent, while the other is regenerated at the same time. The charging of the absorbent becomes clear with the pressure rise in the gas mixture in front of the tanks. As a characteristic curve is considered the hyperbola
