ABSTRACT:
A device for blocking or releasing the flow of a gaseous or liquid medium therethrough by means of a valve ball which is situated in a valve seat includes a release bar which can be moved such that the valve ball is moved relative to the valve seat. The longitudinal axis of the release bar is disposed at an angle in the range of 20.degree.-100.degree. to the direction of flow of the gaseous or liquid medium.

I think the distribution ovheread costs come into play as well. I've never walked into a pharmacy that was overwhelmed by the customers. I'm sure it's more cost effective having extra staff than taking the chance that someone rushes a prescription and makes a mistake. It a job where an innocent mistake can easily turn into jail time.And they have to have the same reimbursement ovheread as a doctors office. On top of the regulatory and drug changes they have to stay of top off.If you have a plan where they will mail a 90 day prescription, it's usually much cheaper than a 1 month prescription at a pharmacy. That has to be due to the ovheread they're cutting out.
