ABSTRACT:
A device for piling successive layers of batches of blanks such as cardboard box blanks on a support surface characterized by a vertically movable table positioned to receive a layer of batches from a delivery conveyor and being movable from the level of the delivery conveyor to a level of a support surface for receiving the layer. The table includes a fork arrangement for lifting the layer off the surface of the table and shifting it horizontally over the support surface and includes a comb arrangement coacting with the forks to maintain the layer on the support surface as the forks are withdrawn.
