An application handling device1for rolling hair curlers2into hair comprising a grip section3, at least one shaft5projecting from the grip section3for the torque-tight reception of a hair curler2, and a hair retention finger8, extending in its closed position parallel to the shaft5, forming with the shaft5a hair reception and laid out swivelably with respect to the shaft5for opening and closing the hair reception, is characterized thereby that with the application handling device1is associated an ionization device9with a high-voltage generator10and at least one ion-emitting electrode12electrically connected to the high-voltage generator10, the at least one electrode12with respect to the disposition of its at least one ion-emitting end13is developed for the ion emission directly onto the hair14wound about a hair curler2retained by the application handling device.
