Balloons are shaped and adapted for use in hollow body orifices. The balloons can be inflated and expanded within the body cavity in such a way as to prevent bleeding in the area, to apply pressure to the area or to allow application of medicine in the region. Each of these application can be performexd without disturbing bodily functioning in the area of application.
