ABSTRACT:
The invention relates to a device and a method for carrying out in an optimized and automated manner immunological marking techniques for thin-sectioned tissue (2b). A support plate (1) which can be automatically moved by means of a computer-controlled conveying device (20) and on which several thin sections of tissue (2b) are placed on small metal screens (2) is immersed like a die into a liquid that is composed of a washing or marking solution (6) and is placed in several recesses (5) within an object support (4). The object support can also be automatically moved.
