A detergent motor fuel composition is provided comprising a primary aliphatic hydrocarbon amino alkylene-substituted asparagine represented by the formula: ##STR1## in which R is a primary aliphatic hydrocarbon radical and R' is hydrogen or a methyl radical, and an N-primary alkyl-alkylene diamine represented by the formula:
