ABSTRACT:
A pistol having a detachable firing assembly built into the rear of it's grip allowing the firing hammer and related components to be removed as a unit. The quick removal and simple design the firing assembly provide a means to disable a pistol by simply removing the firing hammer housing. The invention makes fabrication of grip-magazine pistols easier as well.
