Compounds having the formula ##SPC1##
In which R is hydrogen, lower alkyl, lower alkenyl, lower alkoxy, halogen, nitro; or lower alkylthio; X is chlorine or bromine; A and B are each hydrogen, together form an epoxide link or together form a bond; the use of these compounds in controlling insects; and a method of preparing these compounds.
