ABSTRACT:
An anionic, gel, cosmetic deodorant composition is provided comprising an anionic base material selected from the alkali metal salts of long chain alkanoic acids of from 16 to 22 carbon atoms, a lower alkanol and from 0.05 to 1 percent by weight, based on the weight of the total composition, of a quaternary ammonium saccharinate salt represented by the following formula: ##SPC1##
Wherein R.sub.1 is an alkyl radical having from 8 to 16 carbon atoms and R.sub.2 and R.sub.3 are either methyl or ethyl.
