ABSTRACT:
Dental prosthetic devices, such as artificial teeth, crowns, bridges and replacements for parts of teeth are provided comprising hardened resin dental materials containing at least one polymer and a finely divided inorganic filler, said filler being present in an amount of about 10 to 90% based on the weight of the material and having a particle size within the range of 10 to 400 millimicrons, said materials having an extremely high compressive strength, clear opalescence and a very smooth homogeneous surface.
