ABSTRACT:
A system for dental restorations comprising dental alloys for the manufacture of a substructure of the restoration and dental porcelains for coating the substructure. The porcelains have a relatively high thermal expansion coefficient, above 14.5 .mu.m/m..degree.C., and a relatively low firing temperature, below 950.degree. C. The alloys have adapted properties, a thermal expansion coefficient above 14.5 .mu.m/m..degree.C. and a solidus temperature of at least 1000.degree. C.
