ABSTRACT:
Denatured protein is used as a nutrient supplement for the stimulation of the growth of mushroom mycelium. The denatured protein is admixed into the compost growing medium before or shortly after spawning. A synergistic effect is attained by admixing a vegetable oil, or fish oil with the denatured protein.
