ABSTRACT:
A process for obtaining propellant samples from case bonded motors compri the use of electrolytic machining to remove two narrow bands of the case to expose the propellant liner, severing of the sample section from the rocket motor by means of a piano wire cutter, and removal of the propellant sample by means of a spool type piano wire cutter.
