A resinous surface covering having on the surface thereof a plurality of raised cellular areas and a plurality of non-elevated areas adjacent to said raised areas, the non-elevated areas having flocked textile fibers adhesively imbedded therein; the height differential between the elevated and non-elevated areas being achieved by either a mechanical or chemical embossing technique.
