ABSTRACT:
A process for reducing the loss of monomers from a polymerization recycle stream comprising steam treating a molecular sieve used to dry the recycle stream to remove acidic sites within the sieve. The steam treatment is conducted at a temperature of between 150.degree. C. and 300.degree. C. for 2 to 24 hours.
