ABSTRACT:
The invention relates to a DC power supply having an adjustable current/voltage (I/V) operating point. The power supply comprises a solar cell (1) and buffer battery (2) connected in parallel. It additionally comprises means connected in parallel with the solar cell for temporarily raising the output voltage in order to enable the operating point of the power supply to be changed. The invention is applicable to artificial satellites.
