ABSTRACT:
A data reproducing apparatus comprising reproducing device for reproducing data stored on a recording medium, a first memory for storing data reproduced from the recording medium, a decoder for decoding data read out from the first memory, a second memory for storing a data writing position of the first memory when a reproduction point of data from the recording medium of the reproducing device is discontinuously shifted, and read-out control circuit for controlling the read-out of the data from the first memory in correspondence with the data writing position stored in the second memory.
