The first storage subsystem100A generates a data set, stores the generated data set in the second storage devices6A2, 6A3, and transmits the data set to the second and third storage subsystems100B,100C. Each of the second and third storage subsystems100B,100C stores the received data set in the third storage device6B1or fifth storage device6C1, reads a data set from the third or fifth storage device6B1, 6C1, and stores the write data within the data set in the fourth storage device6B2or sixth storage device6C2.
