ABSTRACT:
This invention relates to the presentation of at least two different sets of information to an observer simultaneously and in the same location, one superposed upon the other, one set of information concerning characters inscribed on a source carrier or document, the other set produced by a data processing machine.
The invention concerns a data entry system in which data read by an operator from a source information carrier is fed by signals from a keyboard by the operator into a data processing machine and in which operator instructions concerning the keying of the source data are produced by the data processing machine and are visually displayed to the operator on a visual display device.
According to the invention the visual display device is located in juxtaposition with the source information carrier and the visually displayed operator instructions.
