ABSTRACT:
This invention relates to an adjustable vibration damper for absorbing energy causing vibratory noise in automotive vehicles, and particularly to a damper capable of adjustment to absorb a range of frequency. The damper comprises an inertial weight of a mass suitable to be effective as a tuned energy absorber having at least one suitably placed aperture therethrough to receive a frictionally interfacing mass of readily compressible elastomeric material.
