ABSTRACT:
A printing dampening roll cover of composite construction having an inner textile fabric layer and an outer non-woven layer, the two layers being concentrically disposed and bonded at the interface to form a water-permeable, integral structure which can be expanded for ready placement on the dampener roll and shrunk in situ to fit snugly on the roll during use.
