ABSTRACT:
Novel D-arabinose-1,5-diphosphate salts of the formula (I): ##STR1## wherein n is from about 3 to 4 and M.sup.+ is a cation as well as racemic and isomeric mixtures of the so-defined and forms of formula (I) are useful as hypoglycemic agents for the treatment of diabetes, e.g., in man.
