A cylinder head (1) for an internal combustion engine, the cylinder head (1) having a top face (1a), a bottom face (1b) arranged to be connected to a cylinder block, a lateral exhaust flange face (1c) arranged to be connected to an exhaust manifold (17), a second lateral face (1d) being opposed to said lateral exhaust flange face (1c), a front face (1e) and an end face (1f).
