ABSTRACT:
A cup seal21includes a base portion21a, an inner circumferential lip21bslidingly contactable with a plunger19and an outer circumferential lip21ccontactable with the bottom surface26aof the seal groove26. Further, on the cup seal21, there are provided elastic projections21dprojecting from the outer circumferential side leading end of the inner circumferential lip21btoward the cylinder hole bottom portion. The length of the cup seal21from the base end face21eto the leading end portions21fis set longer than axial length of the seal groove26. When the cup seal21is fitted into the seal groove26, force is imparted on the inner circumferential lip21btoward the cylinder hole inner circumferential direction to energize the inner circumferential lip21btoward the piston all the time.
