A cyclotrisiloxane represented by the general formula (1): ##STR1## wherein R.sup.1, R.sup.2, R.sup.3, R.sup.4 and R.sup.5 may be the same or different and are each an alkyl group of 1 to 3 carbon atoms and X is a cyclohexyl group or an alkyl group expressed by the formula:
