Cyclohexenone derivatives of the formula ##STR1## where R.sup.1, R.sup.2, A, m, n, x and y have the meanings given in the disclosure, a process for their manufacture, herbicidal and plant growth-regulating agents containing the novel active ingredients, and processes for combating unwanted plant growth and for regulating plant growth.
