ABSTRACT:
Cyclohexane-1,3-dione derivatives of the formula ##STR1## where R.sup.1 is alkyl, R.sup.2 is alkyl, unsubstituted or halogen-substituted alkenyl or alkynyl, X is a saturated or unsaturated five-membered or six-membered heterocyclic structure which carries one or more substituents, and Z is hydrogen, methoxycarbonyl, ethoxycarbonyl, methyl or cyano, and salts of these compounds are used for controlling undesirable plant growth.
