ABSTRACT:
A two phase bicycle rear suspension assembly. The two phases allow for maximum suspension travel over very uneven terrain. The arrangement is such that when a bicycle fitted with the assembly is being pedalled, the second phase is locked out and lost pedalling energy due to pedal-induced lobbing is avoided, while at the same time the first suspension phase remains active.
